Most IPTV buffering is caused by insufficient bandwidth, Wi-Fi congestion, or an overloaded router. Run a speed test, switch to a wired connection if possible, and restart your router — this resolves the majority of cases in under five minutes.
1. Check your internet speed
Run a speed test at speedtest.net while nothing else is streaming on your network. For reliable HD streaming you'll want at least 15–25 Mbps; 4K content needs closer to 40 Mbps sustained.
2. Switch to a wired connection
Wi-Fi congestion is the single most common cause of buffering. If your streaming device supports ethernet, use it — even an inexpensive USB-to-ethernet adapter makes a noticeable difference.
3. Restart your router and device
Routers accumulate memory bloat over days of continuous uptime. A simple restart clears this and often resolves intermittent buffering immediately.
- Unplug your router for 30 seconds, then plug it back in
- Restart your streaming device or app
- Try a different DNS server (e.g. 1.1.1.1) if issues persist
- Lower stream quality temporarily to test whether bandwidth is the bottleneck
If buffering only happens on specific channels, the issue is usually on the source side — contact support so we can check that stream directly.
